Gas Gang Group of Companies
Gas Gang is a private infrastructure investment platform focused on natural gas, power generation, and related energy infrastructure in the United States and select international markets. Gas Gang was acquired by Fort Worth– and Hawaii-based entrepreneur Matthew Brown and is managed through the Gas Gang Group of Companies, which includes multiple separately organized investment funds, investment vehicles and affiliated operating entities.
Through these separately organized vehicles, Gas Gang pursues investments in essential, hard-asset infrastructure, with an emphasis on assets supported by contracted or recurring revenues, including long-term power purchase agreements, tolling arrangements, capacity payments, transportation and storage contracts, equipment leases, offtake agreements, and other contractual revenue arrangements.
Gas Gang's investment activities may include gas-fired generation, turbines and modular generation equipment, pipelines, gathering and transportation systems, compression and processing facilities, underground storage, LNG and terminal infrastructure, grid and interconnection assets, and equipment leasing opportunities. Investments may be structured through equity, preferred equity, structured credit, project debt, equipment finance, leases, joint ventures, and other structures appropriate to a particular transaction.
Rather than operating primarily as a directional commodity strategy, Gas Gang's investment approach emphasizes durable cash flows, underlying asset value, strategic infrastructure positioning, counterparty quality, and contractual protections intended to mitigate investment risk. All investments involve risk, including the possible loss of invested capital, and there can be no assurance that any investment objective will be achieved.
Gas Gang, LLC serves as sponsor and investment manager to separately organized Gas Gang investment vehicles. Each fund and investment vehicle is a separate legal entity with its own investment program, capital commitments, assets, liabilities, governing documents, and economic interests. An investment in one Gas Gang-sponsored vehicle does not constitute an investment in, or provide an economic interest in, any other Gas Gang-sponsored vehicle.
Gas Gang seeks to develop a broader institutional infrastructure investment platform through separately organized funds, strategic partnerships, co-investment vehicles, and infrastructure transactions. Gas Gang has established a long-term strategic objective of developing a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure investment platform; however, this objective is aspirational, there can be no assurance that it will be achieved, and it should not be interpreted as a projection of assets under management, investment performance, or future results.
